The route is varied, never particularly exposed, and always crossable with caution, considering the altitude and the rock’s instability. Not too difficult but never trivial, this journey offers a perfect blend of challenge and awe-inspiring scenery. As you ascend, the landscape unfolds in breathtaking panoramas, rewarding your efforts with stunning views of rugged terrain and pristine wilderness. The price includes
IFMGA mountain guide for the day, round-trip cable car to Indren, technical equipment if needed (harness, crampons).
The price difference will be settle directly to the agency in case you reach Piramide Vincent

8:30 rendezvous with the guide at Passo dei Salati to ensure your equipment is in order and get it distributed. Our journey kicks off on foot, heading towards the historic cable car of Punta Indren. The path leads us to the scenic south side of Punta Giordani, where we’ll ascend along the Soldier Ridge, encountering passages of 3/4 difficulty en route to the summit of Punta Giordani.

From the pinnacle of Giordani, the adventure extends along the ridge to Piramide Vincent, featuring sections of enjoyable rock climbing on blocks. If the prospect of reaching Piramide Vincent intrigues you within this program, please get in touch with us before booking .

Following our ascent to Punta Giordani on the southwest side, we’ll descend via the standard route. The descent is straightforward, marked by consistently moderate slopes, and is usually well-marked. Make the most of this thrilling experience with us.

– 5 layers of clothing for the upper body (thermal shirt, light fleece, heavy fleece, down jacket, anorak.)<br />- two set of gloves (soft and ski ones)

Mountaineering entails inherent risks, and despite the efforts of our UIAGM-certified guides to minimize them, complete elimination is impossible. However, your trust in their judgment and compliance with decisions are vital. Adequate preparation and a basic level of physical fitness are necessary for safety. If, for any reason, your guide deems you unprepared for the ascent to Monte Rosa, alternative options will be provided.


FAQ #1 – Will I suffer from altitude sickness?
High altitude can cause altitude sickness, with symptoms such as headaches, nausea, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating. These symptoms can vary from person to person. Some people adapt more easily to altitude than others. If possible, gradual acclimatization by spending time at higher altitudes before reaching 4000 meters can help reduce altitude sickness symptoms. Good physical fitness can also aid adaptation to altitude.
&lt;strong>FAQ #2</strong> – Are there any medications that can help with altitude sickness?
Altitude sickness is highly subjective, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. It is advisable to bring only the headache and nausea medications that you are already familiar with and have used before. Nevertheless, we recommend consulting your primary healthcare provider for personalized advice
FAQ #3 – What happens if I feel unwell during the ascent?
If you feel unwell in the refuge, we will organize an early descent. If you feel unwell along the route, we will turn back. In the case of severe discomfort, the accompanying guide will alert rescue services, and you will be evacuated by helicopter.
FAQ #4 – Can I join a group if I’m alone?
No, we do not organize group excursions for this type of climb. The team must have good preparation and confidence.
FAQ #5 – What altitude is reached on this excursion?
By traversing the entire ridge, you will reach Punta Giordani at 4046 meters
FAQ #6 – Can I rent high mountain clothing and equipment?
You can rent equipment (boots, poles, ice axe) in Alagna, Gressoney and Champoluc. However, it will not be possible to rent clothing.
FAQ #7 – If I do not reach the summit, will I be refunded?
No, there will be no refunds as you will have already used the refuge, guide, and lifts.
FAQ #8 – What is the required fitness level for the excursion?
To successfully complete this program that combine alpine rock and snow ridge in high mountain terrain, you need good physical endurance and technical preparation: rock climbing of grade III. Difficulty: moderately challenging, it’s ideal as a first approach to technical alpine terrain. The Estimated duration is 4.5/5 hours from Punta Indren to Punta Giordani, and 1.5/2 hours for the descent.
