The Wild Blue Trekking is an opportunity to push your limits and reconnect with nature in one of the most magical places in the Mediterranean. The Wild Blue Trekking offers a challenging hike along Sardinia’s eastern coast, ideal for experienced trekking enthusiasts. This adventurous route crosses rugged paths, breathtaking cliffs, and ancient shepherd trails, showcasing the Supramonte’s wild beauty. An authentic and primordial adventure. Guided by expert IFMGA mountain guides, you’ll explore hidden caves, natural pools, and juniper forests, experiencing authentic adventure. The program ensures both safety and adventure, with relaxing moments spent in picturesque bivouacs under the stars.

Wild Blue Trekking pushes your limits and reconnects you with nature in one of the Mediterranean’s most magical places.

Group Hike  € 1300,00 / person

The hike will be confirmed upon reaching the minimum number of participants, which is 5. The maximum number of participants is 8.

The price includes:

  • Accompaniment by a UIAGM Alpine Guide
  • Expenses of the Alpine Guide
  • Supplies/luggage transport for the trekking days
  • Dinners, packed lunches, and breakfasts during the trek
  • Transport by rubber boat
  • Technical equipment until stocks last
  • Overnight stay and dinner for the 1st and 6th nights
  • Entry ticket/permit for Selvaggio Blu (€30 per person)
  • Local Selvaggio Blu fee for environmental maintenance and access to Cala Goloritzé beach (€30 per person)
  • Transfer/taxi airport – Santa Maria Navarrese round trip

The price does NOT include:

  • Any missing materials
  • Personal accident insurance
  • Program changes due to causes beyond the control of the Alpine Guides, additional costs will be shared among participants
  • Everything not listed in “The price includes”

We can book also flights for you! The cost will vary depending on the price at the time of booking and your departure airport.

Day 1 – October 6th
Arrival and accommodation
Arrival in Santa Maria Navarrese and accommodation in a half-board hotel.
Briefing at 6:00 PM on the practical management of the trekking.

Day 2 – October 7th
Santa Maria Navarrese – Ovile us piggius/Bertarelli
Baggage delivery to the organization and beginning of the trekking from Santa Maria Navarrese.
Possible stop at Pedra Longa beach, ascent to Cengia Giradili and Punta Giradili.

Day 3 – October 8th
Ovile Us Piggius – Ovile Piras
Departure scheduled at 9:00 AM, lunch break on Porto Pedrosu beach.
Ascent on the comfortable path of Iltiera up to Salvatore’s Ovile.

Day 4 – October 9th
Ovile Piras – Su Padente
Departure from the ovile and descent to Cala Goloritse beach.
Ascent to Su Tasaru continuing towards Su Pedente for the night.

Day 5 – October 10th
Su Padente – Grotta del Fico – Su Padente
Departure from Ololbissi and descent to Grotta del Fico.
Ascent to Su Padente for the night.

Day 6 – October 11th
Su Padente – Cala Sisine
Departure from Su Padente and arrival at the first two rappels in about an hour.
We will then reach the equipped ferrata section (2 sections of about 20 meters each) which also includes a third rappel.
After the final rappel, a short walk will take us to Cala Sisine beach.
Return by rubber boat and night in a hotel with half-board.

Day 7 – Departure
Transfer from Santa Maria Navarrese to the airport and return home.

  • Backpack 35/40 liters
  • Daypack to leave at the hotel/B&B with spare clothes
  • Waterproof travel duffel bag
  • Sleeping bag (comfort temperature around 5-10 degrees Celsius)
  • Polyurethane or self-inflating sleeping mat
  • Harness, 1 screwgate carabiner,
  • Via ferrata kit
  • Climbing helmet
  • Headlamp (with spare batteries)
  • External batteries for charging the phone
  • 2-liter plastic bottle to be filled daily with fresh water by the organization.
  • Minimum 12 meters of rope
  • Waterproof tarpaulin 2 x 3 meters with eyelets
  • Tent
  • 1/2 Trekking poles only if collapsible
  • Above or below ankle hiking shoes
  • Slippers/sandals for the evening.
  • Lightweight Gore-Tex jacket
  • Lightweight down jacket
  • Lightweight fleece or sweater
  • 3/4 T-shirts
  • 1 Lightweight long pants
  • 2/3 Shorts
  • 3/4 Socks and underwear
  • 1 Swimsuit
  • 1 Buff type bandana
  • 1 Sun hat
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • 1 Small towel and toiletries
  • 1 Small beach towel
  • Personal snacks for trekking
  • Wet wipes (2/3 small packs)

Technical equipment rental is available upon request.

LOGISTICS

The overnight stops along the route are predetermined, and a service team will reach us in the evening and morning to provide water, food, and overnight gear (sleeping mats, sleeping bags, tents). You will have a duffel bag to store all your personal items. Empty suitcases can be left at the hotel/B&B until your return.
Each morning, the duffel bag will be returned and found at the next stop.
The daily backpack will contain water, snacks, packet lunch, and technical gear. The lighter, the better.

Meals are provided by the organization.

Our packages do not include insurance. Since many of you are members of mountain clubs, which offer excellent coverage for their members, or already have personal insurance, we aim to avoid redundancy.

However, if you are not yet insured (and we highly recommend you consider it) and would like coverage for:
