Get ready for an exciting ski mountaineering adventure in Zermatt! Our goal is to explore the Monte Rosa by crossing it from south to north on the Alagna Zermatt ski tour!
We will base ourselves at Capanna Gnifetti on the Garstelet Glacier and spend four days immersed in the beauty of Monte Rosa. With patience and determination, we will tackle its slopes, making our way towards the ultimate destination: Zermatt. Our ski mountaineering path to Zermatt will lead us to traverse the second highest peak in Europe from south to north. It’s a journey on skins and skis that combines challenge and discovery.
We will explore the most remote altitudes. Where the heart of Monte Rosa beats strongly, and the mountain seems to follow the slow, steady rhythm of nature. This ski mountaineering itinerary to Zermatt offers an authentic experience. Full harmony with the surrounding environment, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s a route accessible to many, but it requires training, determination, and a willingness to embrace the challenge.
